See... He looks like me, TOO!

I tried out this meter and it says Brody looks "equally" like me and Bobby. I know, I know... he DOES have Bobby's dark brown eyes, and eyebrows, and eye-lashes, but give me a break! He does have my mouth and nose! (He's actually pretty darn lucky to look like his hot Daddy!) I'm not really bothered by it. This meter thing was just too much fun!

I'm not a mean mom, I promise...

It was just so funny watching his facial expressions. He still loves me- he told me so!

So...

Here's what's been going on since my last post! We went down to St. George for 5 days and had a nice little vacation! We went to the Dixie Roundup Rodeo on Saturday night- I LOVE rodeos! Brody didn't like the noise at first, but I took him out andslowly walked back in with him to get him use to it. He liked it after that. The three of us at the Rodeo

We also went to my cousin, Nick's, wedding reception! Actually, we went to the open house right before the rodeo- so we were all dressed in our jeans and rodeo getup! Probably inappropriate, but it's all good! Since we got home from St. George last Tuesday, nothing much has happened. We went and "previewed" a home in Morgan for my parents. They are wanting to move up here at the end of the year!!! YEAH!! It was really nice and a fun home to see! They will come up in October to see it for themselves- as for now, they just have mine and Bobby's opinion and some pictures that I took. (It has an indoor pool!) We felt like we were in a hotel! I got Brody's Halloween costume yesterday- he is going to be a Pirate :) It's so dang cute. We also got a little outfit in the mail from Gampy. It's from his trip to Alaska last week. It's red with black moose- aw heck- I'll just put up a picture of it. Well, I think that's about it.. except that Brody is sick today. :( He got his immunizations yesterday, and his first flu shot. It's soooo sad when my baby's sick. He threw up this morning a couple of times and has a little fever. Poor guy. He's taking a nap right now, so that's good. He sure is worn out today. Oh! I almost forgot... Brody got his first haircut a couple of weeks ago. I've been putting his hair in a mohawk sometimes, and he had a few long hairs sticking out! (I only cut off like 10 hairs, total) I tried putting the hair in a plastic bag- but you can barely tell!

We were able to meet up with my dad in St. George on our way home. It was fun to see him! Yummy lunch, too!

Happy Birthday... to ME!!

I had my 22nd birthday on Friday- that's right, I'm 22 years OLD!!! Holy Cow! It was a fun day- Bobby took off work for my birthday! He's sooo sweet! We went to the Temple in the morning and then came home and just hung out. My parents were in town, so we had a babysitter for the day! My parents are moving up here next year, so we went and looked at some homes for them. Later, Bobby and I went to help setup for a ward BBQ- since we're on the activities committee, then we went to dinner at McGrath's Fish House. It was good!! Bobby doesn't like seafood, but he's able to get Burgers there, so he doesn't mind it! (How nice!!) After dinner we went to Old Navy to find a shirt for me to wear to my cousin's wedding the next day. And, of course, we got a little beanie for Brody- I can't go shopping without looking for him (or Bobby) I always go out to find something for myself and come home with stuff for my two boys! I just love them, what can I say?! So, back to my party.. we went home after shopping and had the rest of the family (Buzz's kids) over for cake and ice cream. They had left their babies with grandma and grandpa that night as well. My parents sure did enjoy being with all of those babies!! They just love being grandparents! Bobby got me a shirt, the movie "The Holiday", and Abercrombie 8 prefume. (I love that stuff!) He's such a great husband! I talked to my Aunt Mandy earlier in the day and she said that I should be recieving a gift in the mail. (I just have to tell you that she NEVER sends gifts... she loves to wrap them and watch you open them- so funny! While I was in Vegas in May, I recieved my wedding, baby, and Christmas gifts! Yep- I opened Christmas presents in May!) It was actually a lot of fun! So, when I talked to her on my birthday, I told her I would take pictures of me opening the gifts and post it on my blog- so here they are! She got me a picture frame with different scrapbooked papers that you put in it for every season/holiday! Such a great gift!!! I LOVE it! Thanks Aunt Mandy!!!
